This One-Day intermediate-level custom training equips PostgreSQL-savvy developers and data professionals with the skills to build intelligent applications by integrating Azure AI services into Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server. Participants will gain hands-on experience embedding generative AI, semantic search, sentiment analysis, multilingual translation, and machine learning inferencing directly into database workflows using Azure AI extensions.
Before enrolling in this training, it’s ideal to have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL query writing, and a foundational grasp of AI and machine learning concepts. These skills will help participants fully engage with the course’s practical focus—embedding generative AI, semantic search, sentiment analysis, translation, and ML inferencing directly into database workflows using Azure AI services

Get started with Generative AI: Learn to use Azure AI extensions to build generative AI apps directly on PostgreSQL – Flexible Server. Explore architecture, setup, and sample use cases.
Enable Semantic Search: Implement vector embeddings and similarity search using PostgreSQL Vector and Azure AI. Ideal for intelligent document retrieval and recommendation systems.
Summarize Data with Azure AI: Apply generative summarization to condense complex content into readable summaries using Azure AI Services.
Perform Sentiment Analysis & Opinion Mining: Extract emotional tone and opinions from text data using Azure AI’s sentiment analysis tools integrated with PostgreSQL.
Extract Insights with Azure AI Language: Use key phrase extraction, entity recognition, and PII redaction to derive structured insights from unstructured text.
Translate Text with Azure AI Translator: Translate multilingual content stored in PostgreSQL using Azure AI Translator, enabling global accessibility.
