This intermediate-level custom training equips learners to configure and migrate PostgreSQL workloads to Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Participants will understand PostgreSQL architecture, query processing, and client-server communication; configure and secure Azure Database for PostgreSQL; migrate on-premises databases to Azure; and optimize performance while setting up high availability and disaster recovery.
Before enrolling in this training, it is ideal for participants to be database administrators or engineers with PostgreSQL experience and familiarity with Azure networking and identity management.
