Training Overview

Disclaimer: This course is independently developed and not affiliated with Microsoft. It covers concepts and skills that closely align with the objectives of Microsoft’s DP-603T00: Implement Real-Time Intelligence with Microsoft Fabric training, making it a strong preparatory or complementary learning experience.

Design and Deploy a Real-Time Intelligence Solution Using Microsoft Fabric

This One-Day intermediate-level training equips data engineers and analysts with the practical hands-on skills to build a real-time intelligence solution using Microsoft Fabric. Participants will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle, from environment setup to streaming ingestion, real-time dashboards, and data activation.

Before enrolling in this training, Participants should ideally be familiar with data transformation, exploratory analytics, and streaming concepts, understand real-time dashboards, and have a basic understanding of KQL (Kusto Query Language) to fully engage with the labs and assessments.

Module Breakdown:

  • Get Started with Real-Time Intelligence in Microsoft Fabric: This module introduces the foundational architecture of Real-Time Analytics in Microsoft Fabric, guiding learners through environment setup and familiarizing them with core components like Eventstream for data ingestion and Eventhouse for storage and querying.

  • Use Eventstream in Microsoft Fabric: Participants learn how to ingest streaming data from external sources using Eventstream, with a focus on configuring schema mappings, applying transformations, and routing data to appropriate destinations for downstream processing.

  • Work with Real-Time Data in an Eventhouse: This module explores how Eventhouse stores and manages real-time data, teaching the essentials of Kusto Query Language (KQL) for performing exploratory analytics and optimizing query performance.

  • Create Real-Time Dashboards with Microsoft Fabric: Learners build interactive dashboards using Power BI visuals, emphasizing techniques for real-time data refresh, dynamic filtering, and user-driven interactivity to surface actionable insights.

  • Use Activator in Microsoft Fabric: The final module covers how to trigger automated actions based on data conditions using Activator, including practical scenarios like sending alerts, initiating workflows, and integrating with external systems.
