Azure Database Administrator Mastery: Securing, Optimizing, and Scaling Cloud Data Platforms

This four-day advanced custom training equips participants with the skills to administer SQL Server and Azure SQL databases across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Attendees will gain hands-on expertise in managing operational tasks, securing data platforms, optimizing performance, and implementing high availability, all while leveraging automation and scalable design.

To succeed in this training, participants should have a working knowledge of database concepts, including understanding the basics of database backup, high availability and disaster recovery.

  • Monitor and Optimize Operational Resources in Azure SQL: Use built-in tools to track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and ensure resource health. Includes telemetry, alerts, and workload tuning.

  • Optimize Query Performance in Azure SQL: Dive into execution plans, indexing strategies, and query tuning techniques. Learn to diagnose and resolve performance issues with precision.

  • Automate Database Tasks for Azure SQL: Implement automation using PowerShell, T-SQL, and Azure tools. Streamline backups, patching, and routine maintenance for operational efficiency.
